Hi! My name is Ms. Amanda, and I am currently a K-6 Math Specialist. I was also a classroom teacher for 13 years in primary and intermediate grades. 

I have wanted to be a teacher since I was young and used to play school in my basement growing up. Teaching and working with students is my passion!

I attended Illinois State University to study Elementary Education and the University of St. Francis for my master's in Education Administration and Leadership. Recently, I decided to return to school again to pursue a master's in Elementary Math Education! 

I tell students my favorite thing is when an "I can't do this yet…" turns into a "I can do this!" I am excited to meet you and your family and begin the learning adventure together!
