Hello, my name is Ariana! I have loved math ever since I could speak. When I was 2, my mom tells me I learned what numbers represented by noticing that I could count my stuffed animals. I have a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in physics from Loyola University Chicago, maintaining a 4.0 gpa in both those areas. I am now working on a Master’s in Mathematics, and hope to one day obtain a PhD. I am currently working on a research paper in Knot Theory, a fun field of mathematics that can be represented physically with knots in strings!
I have been a private tutor for high school mathematics courses and a tutor at Loyola University Chicago for college-level mathematics courses. My students have ranged from high schoolers in geometry to mathematics majors in 300-level courses. No matter the level, it is especially rewarding to see the students’ joy when they understand a concept. I love math and science and look forward to sharing that love with others!
