Hi! My name is Stacey. I work on the administrative side of JAM Teaching and Consulting. I am currently a first-grade teacher in Wilmette. I grew up in the northwest suburbs and graduated with my bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. I then went back to school to receive my Reading Specialist Certification. I have a passion for reading and learning and have been able to apply my continuing education directly to the classroom setting.

I have spent the past ten-plus years teaching at the first and second-grade levels. I love teaching primary education because of the growth and development these kids can obtain. It’s magical. I truly believe that teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning. I enjoy spending my time teaching and tutoring one-on-one to bring learning to life and embed in students a desire and excitement for learning.
