Hello! My name is Janaki, and I am a passionate learner and observer. I received a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences and minors in Psychology and Disability and Human Development from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Currently, I am at UIC pursuing an Occupational Therapy (OT) degree. OTs, help individuals achieve what they want in an effective way to have the best quality of life possible. I have always loved children and jump at any chance to help them feel more confident and capable. My past work with kids and tutoring experience has helped me learn how to effectively and positively collaborate, encourage, and teach students.

Additionally, I love the outdoors, being active, reading, and spending time with loved ones. All my passions help me better give to those I work with. I am excited to work with children and have extensive experience working with typically and atypically developing kids. No matter the age or challenge, every child has great potential to succeed!
