Hi, I'm Ashley! I received my bachelor's degree in Early-Childhood Education (Birth-3rd Grade) at Illinois State University. I was honored to be a Golden Apple Award recipient! Golden Apple is a selective, merit-based scholarship and collaborative professional development program. In my teaching practice, I have worked diligently to support struggling learners, especially in reading. I was inspired to enhance my skills and am currently pursuing my Reading Specialist Certificate.

I love working with students in the tutoring setting to individualize my lessons to support their development. I was one of 15 teachers selected and tasked with representing the Primary Leadership cohort. The cohort provided advisory support for the planning and pacing all curricula across 31 AUSL Schools within CPS (for the 2020-21 School Year.
