Social Emotional Learning (SEL) foundations not only improve academic learning in students but are important for creating a healthy way of life. SEL can increase a child’s happiness and engagement and reduce stress, anxiety and depression. SEL Learning includes self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills and decision making. A child empowered with these skills is more available to access learning and make academic gains.
