Hello! My name is Ms. Brianna, and I’m an early childhood educator passionate about creating hands-on, engaging learning experiences for young learners. I teach kindergarten in Chicago and hold a B.A. in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special Education from Pennsylvania State University.
Over the past two years, I’ve taught kindergarten in Chicago Public Schools and Montgomery County Public Schools. In addition to my classroom experience, I’ve worked with 3rd–5th grade students as a Girls on the Run coach, helping students build confidence and community.
I specialize in working with students in PreK through 2nd grade, focusing on reading intervention, early literacy, foundational math skills, and executive functioning development. My teaching style is student-centered and responsive. I strive to incorporate each child’s interests and strengths into our sessions to keep learning meaningful and fun. I use strategies that foster critical thinking and provide hands-on materials to help make abstract ideas more concrete.
I take a collaborative approach when working with students with unique learning needs. I assess through observation and input from families, then tailor my instruction based on each child's learning style—visual, auditory, or kinesthetic—to ensure success.
Outside of teaching, I love reading, cooking, practicing yoga, and going on runs. I’m also constantly learning something new—right now, I’m teaching myself how to play pickleball!
A quote that guides my teaching is: “Every child is gifted.” I believe all children have unique strengths, and my role is to help uncover and nurture them through patience, creativity, and connection.
I look forward to working with your child and supporting them as they grow academically and build confidence as learners.
