Hi, I’m Ms. Delainey, and I believe that learning should be an empowering experience that builds confidence, independence, and a sense of accomplishment. With over five years of private tutoring experience and a background in classroom teaching, I specialize in helping students in grades K-8 strengthen their reading, math, and executive functioning skills.

My approach is student-centered and collaborative—I focus on meeting each child where they are, adapting my instruction to their unique learning style, and fostering an inclusive, supportive environment. I use differentiated instruction, project-based learning, and technology integration to ensure every student receives personalized, effective support. My goal is to help students improve academically and equip them with the skills they need to take ownership of their learning and thrive in and out of the classroom.

Beyond tutoring, I have a passion for travel, exploring new restaurants in the city, and baking. I started an Etsy shop in 2020 and have shipped over 1,000 orders! Like in teaching, I love creating something meaningful and sharing it with others.
