Back to School Tip #4 🍎

4. Select a connection/ transitional object from home to bring to school.

Many teachers ask that toys and big clunky objects be left at home. However, family pictures, or even a small "I'm thinking about you" bracelet can be really helpful when preparing to separate from home after a long summer.

*Disclaimer: try to avoid sending their most beloved one of a kind blankie that they sleep with every night. Things get lost, misplaced, and dirtied. Planning for this in advance is a great way to select a "new" very special object whose sole purpose is to travel back and forth from school to home and help ease separation anxiety.
