1. Teachers have your child's best interest at heart.🍎 Teachers work day in and out to make sure that the needs of the children in their class are met. They care a great deal about the progress and growth of everyone in their class.

2. A collaborative approach yields the biggest learnings success.🍎 Conferences are not a time to blame or shame (the child, the teacher or the parents!) It is a time to come together and make a plan so that your learners' needs are met.

3. Your child's ability to function in a classroom is a microcosm for them learning how to navigate the world.🍎 You have very important insight into how your child functions when they are on their own and working independently. However, the world is made up of people, various social situations, transitions, and change. They not only need to excel independently, but also within a community. Classrooms are a great space to practice what they will encounter outside of the school building. The goal is for our kids to be well rounded and adaptable so that they can thrive in many different kinds of learning environments.
