Don't yuck my yum 😋

I overheard two kids eating lunch together. One pulled out their tuna fish sandwich. The other responded "ew!" The first child looked at the other and simply said, "Don't yuck my yum." And that's when I fell in love with the phrase. How simple, and effective?! Language is powerful. It helps shift the mind. This simple, seemingly silly phrase erases any shame and puts confidence back into choices and decisions. It reminds us all that it's okay to be different, and to celebrate those differences.
