JAM Recommends: Parent Edition

Ms. Jenette says (with a little memory jogging from Wikipedia) You fall in love with the characters, and are intrigued to flip page after page. The story follows two timelines that slowly intertwine. The first timeline describes the life and adventures of a young girl named Kya as she grows up isolated in the marsh of North Carolina from 1952 to 1969. The second timeline follows an investigation into the apparent murder of Chase Andrews, a local celebrity of Barkley Cove, a fictional coastal town of North Carolina. 🧐

Also, once you read it you can confidently see yourself to the nearest movie theater when it comes out on the big screen!🙋♀️ if you have to read the book version before the movie comes out!
