THE JAM APPROACH
We start with how your child learns,
not just what they're struggling with
When a child struggles in school, the problem is rarely just the subject. Too often, kids get more worksheets, more homework help, or more pressure to try harder, without anyone stepping back to understand how they actually learn. We do the opposite. We start with the full picture.
WHAT WE BELIEVE

Kids thrive when support is personal, relational, and grounded in real instruction
We don't rely on a single program or curriculum. Instead, our specialists draw from a range of research-based approaches and adapt them to each student. Depending on your child's learning profile, that support might include:
-
Evidence-based academic instruction
-
Executive functioning support
-
Emotional regulation strategies
-
Individualized pacing and scaffolding
-
Collaboration with families and schools
HOW IT WORKS
The JAM matching process
Pairing each child with the right specialist is one of the most important things we do. Here's how we get it right:
-
Consultation. We start by learning about your child's experiences in and out of school, current challenges, and goals for the future.
-
Learning Profile Review. When available, we review evaluations, assessments, and school reports to understand how your child learns.
-
Strategic Tutor Pairing. We match your child with a specialist whose expertise and teaching style fit their needs.
-
Individualized Support Plan. We tailor support to your child, which may include academic help, executive functioning strategies, and regulation tools they can use in school and beyond.
-
Ongoing Collaboration. We stay in touch with families, and when appropriate schools, so support grows with your child, in the classroom and in life.

VETTED, NOT JUST AVAILABLE
We do the vetting so you don't have to
Trusting your child to a tutor is a real act of trust, so we take who joins our team seriously. Every tutor goes through interviews, background checks, and referral checks before they ever work with a student.
But vetting is about more than safety. A child's learning time is precious, and the wrong fit means lost weeks a struggling student can't afford. When the tutor is right, from their training to their temperament, every session counts. That's why we're this careful about who we bring on, and who we match to your child.
not just anyone
MEETING KIDS WHERE THEY ARE
Instruction that fits your child,
not the other way around

Students come to us with a wide range of needs. Some are building foundational skills in reading, writing, or math. Others are strengthening focus, organization, or regulation. Our specialists match evidence-based approaches to your child, whether that's structured literacy for dyslexia, conceptual math, writing strategies, or executive functioning and self-regulation support.By building on what your child does well, we help them develop skills that reach far beyond a single subject.

WHO WE HELP
We support students from early childhood through high school
Every student who comes to us learns a little differently. We work with early readers building their first foundational skills, elementary and middle schoolers strengthening academics or executive functioning, and high schoolers managing heavier workloads and higher stakes. Many of our students have learning profiles like dyslexia, ADHD, or language-based differences, while others are simply bright kids who haven't found the right kind of support yet. Wherever your child is, we meet them there and build from their strengths.
