Hi! My name is Ms. Denise, and I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a master’s in Behavior Analysis and Therapy from Southern Illinois University. I have worked in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2010, starting as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) before becoming a BCBA in 2016. My experience has allowed me to develop a highly individualized approach that focuses on meeting each client’s unique needs.
As a BCBA and independent clinician, I assess social, communication, and regulatory deficits while creating treatment goals tailored to each learner. My work goes beyond reducing limiting behaviors. I focus on helping individuals develop crucial life skills that foster confidence, independence, and meaningful social interactions. Unlike traditional ABA models that rely on support staff, I take a relationship-focused, holistic approach. I work directly with my clients to ensure personalized, hands-on engagement.
My passion lies in helping individuals reach their full potential through positive behavioral changes that support growth, well-being, and happiness. Every learner deserves an approach tailored to their needs, promotes their strengths, and builds their confidence.
Outside of work, I enjoy practicing yoga, trying new Indian cuisine, listening to science podcasts, caring for my many plants, and keeping up with my energetic cockapoo, Otto.
My goal is to provide personalized, research-based, and relationship-driven support that empowers individuals to develop lifelong skills and confidently navigate the world.
